  13.    Our company is an access provider which connects USR Sportster 288 
  14. modems to the Cisco 2511 access server.  We have made a few changes:
  15. We set ats19=30 for a timeout period, and in addition, we also set S27=48 
  16. and S54=96, as suggested by USR to fix a handshake problem, after that, 
  17. we did a at&w0.  After then change, we discovered that all users dialing in 
  18. our modems receive some garbage characters after connection is made.
  19. Recognizing that the problem maybe caused by the re-configuration, we
  20. quickly fall back all our modems to the original S19=0 S27=0 and S54=64
  21. configuration, but we still see that our users are still receiving garbage!!
  22. Any ideas or suggestions is very much appreciated...
